One of our clients in Reston, VA needs an Acquisition Analyst for a permanent position.

Job Description:
iQuasar, LLC has an exciting opportunity for an Acquisition Analyst to join our growing team. We require a minimum of 5 years of experience conducting analysis relevant to the specific labor category with relevant experience within the last 2 years. Work is highly independent, and typically reports to a manager or head of unit/department.

Responsibilities:
• Provides guidance and direction on acquisition position identification; acquisition position coding and documentation support, analysis activities and workforce planning activities in compliance with the standards of the Defense Acquisition Workforce Implementation Act (DAWIA) and existing policies and procedures. 
• Projects to be performed include, but are not limited to, participation in design methodology for workforce identification/revalidation; support socialization and marketing efforts; assists with data retrieval and data analysis activities for workforce planning activities and requirements. 
• Provides advice and assistance to functional area technical experts (COR/ACOR and program offices) on contractual matters in the acquisition planning states based on a working knowledge of regulation policy. 
• Assists with the development of writing performance criteria and requirements into sound/sufficient SOW/PWS and/or orders. 
• Performs or evaluates market research and trends, conditions, and technological advances as they apply to the program. 
• Assists with the development of source selection evaluation criteria. Coordinates and works with the technical experts and the contracting office to ensure project milestones are reflected in the contractual documents and project plan. 
• Assists in the development of Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCEs).

Qualifications:
• Require minimum 5 years of experience performing relevant actions specific to the labor category, with relevant experience within the last 2 years. Work is highly independent.

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in an area related to the labor category from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.

• Demonstrates in-depth knowledge and understanding of the labor category activities required to meet mission requirements.
• Demonstrates mastery of qualitative and quantitative acquisition and program management analytic methodologies and pursues developments in academia or other fields that contribute to enterprise/corporate level process improvement.
• Demonstrates ability to design comprehensive, new, or unique process improvement enablers to further streamline Agency PPB&E facilitation.
• Demonstrates in-depth knowledge of acquisition lifecycle operations, including financial execution concepts, and provides knowledge management across organizational and intra-IC boundaries to clearly articulate key findings.
• Demonstrates ability to work independently and with minimal oversight.
• Demonstrates ability to review analytic program management data for cogent arguments, provide adequate support for conclusions, and routinely test the accuracy of analytic data.
