You will be the F-35 Maintenance Optimization Manager - Level 5.
What You Will Be Doing
You will lead a multidisciplinary team, including F-35 Organizational Maintenance Optimization (OMO), and Sustainment Optimization Supportability Analysis (SOSA) personnel, responsible for ensuring the F-35 fleet operates efficiently and effectively. This leadership role will require expertise in process analysis and data coordination. Frequent coordination with internal and external stakeholders. Major responsibilities of the role include:
• Executing the Sustainment Business Case Analysis (BCA) Process, which includes generating, prioritizing, evaluating, and recommending candidate F-35 Sustainment improvement projects with the potential to improve sustainment operational support capability, availability, and affordability in support of overarching F-35 Program objectives.
• Managing the F-35 OMO process, which triages, conducts data collection, and implements Organizational-level maintenance plan optimizations at the F-35 program level.

Basic Qualifications:
• Holds a Final DoD Secret clearance and eligibility for Administratively Controlled Area (ACA) clearance
• Demonstrated experience in aviation maintenance and/or sustainment flightline operations
• Demonstrated experience in managing cost, schedule, and/or budget (i.e. EVMS, project management)
• Demonstrated formal or informal experience in leading diverse project teams and resolving customer issues
• Proven ability to drive positive organizational change that delivers business results aligned with Aero 100 objectives
Desired Skills:
• Strong understanding of internal, external, and government customer needs
• Effective representation of Sustainment Engineering within broader Sustainment Operations and Line of Business integration groups
• Proven ability to organize, motivate, and unify diverse teams as one cohesive unit
• Track record of building independent, self driven teams
• Hands on experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) and proposal development
• Familiarity with agile methodology and execution of work streams
• Strategic thinker who translates vision into concrete actions and results
• Skilled at navigating matrix organizations for successful delivery
• Excellent verbal and written communication; adept at negotiating win win solutions with stakeholders
• Accelerating Performance Excellence (APEX) background - Green or Black Belt trained or certified
• Demonstrated change agent with digital transformation experience
• Demonstrated full spectrum leadership across all levels and functions

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
