MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Cyber Security Engineer to join our team in Chantilly, VA. Senior Cyber Security Engineers are responsible for the quality of cyber security-related solution delivery, development, testing, and deployment in support of cyber security efforts. You will help create secure and efficient cyber solution components based on defined requirements and mission objectives. The successful candidate must possess the ability to work both independently and within a collaborative team environment. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Maintain operations of identity and access management services including directory, access, identity, and privileged access management servicesMaintain infrastructure in cloud or virtualized environmentsPerform Linux-based system upgrades and patchesEngineer and deploy a Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) solutionManage Continuous Monitoring (CONMON) activitiesMaintain Authority to Operate (ATO)Provide status reports in an Agile environmentPeriodically provide after-hour support Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in an Information Technology field, or 4+ years of additional experience in lieu of a degree5+ years of cyber experience in support of mission systemsExperience working in LINUX environmentsProficiency with LDAP directories and database managementAbility to create scripts (e.g., Python, Bash) to support automation effortsUnderstanding of cybersecurity frameworks and best practicesFamiliarity with cloud security and virtualized infrastructure technologiesAbility to troubleshoot system-level issues and conduct root cause analysisMust have or be willing to obtain IAT Level II certification within 6 months of hire (e.g., Security+, GSEC, SSCP) Preferred Qualifications:Experience with Ansible and writing automation playbooksExperience with PKI principles and certificate lifecycle managementHands-on experience with identity federation technologies (e.g., SAML, OAuth)Experience working in Agile and DevOps environmentsUnderstanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM) concepts and solutionsExperience with system hardening and compliance standards (e.g., STIGs, CIS Benchmarks)Clearance Requirements:Must have a current/active TS/SCI with Polygraph Physical Requirements:The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
