Job Description

As a Security Officer - Armed Defense Patrols in Denver, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer at a leading aerospace and defense location, where you'll actively monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents. You will remain visible throughout your shift, provide exceptional customer service, and support a secure environment for all personnel. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and when appropriate, participating in emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining a professional presence.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility and along the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and/or access.
• Maintain awareness of surroundings within an aerospace and defense location, identifying and reporting any suspicious behaviors or conditions.
• Support access control measures by verifying credentials and monitoring entry points as required by site protocols.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports of daily activities, incidents, and any security-related concerns.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal management and site leadership to communicate issues and support site-specific needs.

Minimum Requirements:

• Active Department of Defense Secret Clearance is required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Handcuffing certification is preferred.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
