Network Engineer
Program Description:
This program delivers comprehensive data center and network engineering support, including the design, development, installation, configuration, testing, and implementation of Data Center and LAN solutions using Cisco technologies, Data Center LAN infrastructure, and Aruba systems. It encompasses requirements analysis, detailed system design, implementation planning, and the creation of operational documentation, while supporting both project initiatives and ongoing operations. The program also provides Tier 3 support through established change-control processes and offers backup WLAN/LAN engineering coverage to ensure consistent, reliable network performance across all infrastructure projects.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
The Network Engineer will manage data center operations and support engineering activities, including designing, developing, installing, configuring, testing, and implementing Data Center/LAN task orders using Cisco network solutions, Data Center LAN infrastructure, and Aruba systems. The role includes gathering and analyzing technical requirements, creating detailed system designs, implementation plans, and operational documentation, and participating in both project and operational meetings. The engineer will provide Tier 3 support through established change-control processes and serve as a backup to the WLAN/LAN engineering team for related infrastructure projects.
