C# .NET Developer
Location: Hybrid (Huntsville, AL; Birmingham, AL; Atlanta, GA; Macon, GA or Warner Robins, GA)

Position Overview - Teksouth is seeking a C#.NET Developer to develop and enhance government software capabilities. You will take ownership of full-stack development efforts that enhance our clients' operational capabilities, contributing to the architecture, implementation, and continuous improvement of scalable, secure, and efficient software solutions. Your work will directly support decision-making and mission readiness for this Air Force customer.
Responsibilities
• Review the current state of existing systems.
• Generate ideas for system improvements.
• Create detailed technical design documentation and level of effort estimates.
• Development of new systems
• Modernization/Maintenance of existing systems
• Testing newly developed systems and changes to existing systems
• Create developer documentation.
• Work closely with Database Developers, Business Analysts, Project Managers, Quality Assurance teams, and Documentation teams.
Qualifications
Clearance & Education
• U.S. citizenship and an active Secret security clearance required.
• A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
Technical Skills
• 5+ years of software development experience, with strong C# and .NET Core skills.
• 3+ years of hands-on SQL and Microsoft SQL Server experience. (Entity Framework alone does not meet this requirement.)
• Proficiency in ASP.NET Core, including services, dependency injection, and middleware.
• Experience with web application development (client-side and server-side/full-stack).
• Solid understanding of front-end technologies: JavaScript, HTML, CSS.
• 3+ years of experience with modern front-end frameworks-React preferred, VueJS acceptable.
• Familiarity with secure coding practices and common web application vulnerabilities.
Additional Experience
• Experience working with legacy systems or poorly documented codebases is a strong plus.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across disciplines.
