Senior Security Engineer to supporting the client by joining a dedicated team of cybersecurity professionals who collaborate, cooperate, and facilitate maintaining and enhancing the security posture and the client's information systems and infrastructure.
Top Qualifications, Skills, Experience or Certifications:
1. 9 years in Cybersecurity or related Information Technology fields, Bachelors and nine (8) years or more experience; Masters and seven (7) years or more experience
2. Experience working with Endpoint protection management solutions
3. Network+, Security+, SSCP, GISF, ISACA Cybersecurity Fundamentals, or similar technical certification
4. Proven understanding of Federal Cybersecurity requirements (i.e. FISMA, NIST 800 series, etc)
5. Excellent communications skills with the capacity to describe endpoint security concepts to unacquainted individuals
6. Exceptional ability to collaboration and coordinate with cross-functional teams
Job Role Specific Requirements:
1. Engage with Leadership and counterparts to implement endpoint protection profile changes to address external threats, and enforce security requirements; Coordinate with application administrators and infrastructure administrators and engineers to troubleshoot issues associated with endpoint protection software; Support integration of endpoint security data with security log aggregation solutions, to include security information event management tools; Participate in declared cybersecurity incident handling activities when requested; Keep current regarding latest threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices related to endpoint security; Work Cyber related security operations ITSM (ServiceNow) assigned tickets to completion; Participate in relevant Cybersecurity and Security Operations (SecOps) meetings; Collaborate on and provide feedback to cybersecurity solutions that enhance client's security posture
Preferred skills and qualifications:
2. Familiarity and comprehensive foundational understanding of application and technology stacks, cloud-based systems, operating systems, databases, networking, firewalls, Data Loss Prevention, Endpoint Security Software, Network Intrusion Detection and Prevention Systems (IDS/IPS) and host-based IDS and IPS and general cyber security best practices and industry standards

Position Details:
The above salary range represents the range expected for the position; however, final salary offers are based on a number of factors such as the position's responsibilities; the candidate's experience, education, and skills; location; travel required; and current market conditions.
