Essential Functions:
- Oversee daily operations for Accounts Payable, Payroll, and Treasury shared-services functions, ensuring deadlines and service level agreements are met.
- Design, document, and enforce standardized policies, procedures, and internal controls across all three service lines to reduce risk and improve consistency.
- Manage month-end and period-close activities that impact payables, payroll accounting entries, and bank reconciliations.
- Supervise, coach, and develop a team of supervisors, specialists, and analysts; set performance goals and conduct regular reviews.
- Partner with internal stakeholders (HR, procurement, tax, business units) to resolve escalations, drive root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
- Lead automation, ERP/configuration, and continuous-improvement initiatives (RPA, AP/Payroll portals, bank connectivity) to increase efficiency and reduce manual touchpoints.
- Manage relationships with banks, payroll providers, and third-party vendors; oversee bank account management, cash forecasting inputs, and vendor payment terms.
- Ensure regulatory and statutory compliance for payroll, tax withholdings, 1099/reporting (or local equivalents), and anti-fraud/AML controls in treasury activities.
- Prepare management reports and KPIs (payment timeliness, payroll accuracy, cash position variance, DPO, exception rates) for senior finance leadership.

Qualifications:
- Thorough knowledge of manufacturing and services accounting practices
- Strong understanding of government contractor accounting practices
- Must be proficient in MS Office products and accounting systems. •

Education / Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
- CPA or relevant professional certification preferred.
Experience:
- 7+ years of progressive finance operations experience with at least 5 years managing shared[1]services teams or multi-function finance operations.
- 2+ years minimum experience managing a team of 5-10 accounting team members
Security Clearance:
- Ability to obtain/maintain a Secret DoD clearance, U.S. Citizenship required.
