The Sr. Director of Operations will have ultimate authority for the management and oversight of all company business operations and will focus on business sustainment and growth. The Sr. Director of Operations will coordinate with the company PMO team and MIOS Executive Staff to ensure synchronization of corporate operations, providing value-added in direct support of company strategic goals.

Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day leadership and management to Managers and staff that mirrors the adopted mission and core values of the company.
- Partner with various MIOS Departments to ensure the company maintains Compliance. Included but not limited to Training, DCAA, DOL, EEOC, OFCCP, FCPA, Etc.
- Develop strategic relationships with potential and existing customers and businesses.
- Collaborates with the President to drive the Company to achieve profitability, cash flow, and business goals and objectives.
- Support the measurement and effectiveness of all processes, internal and external.
- Provides timely, accurate, and complete delegated reports on the operating condition of the Company.
- Collaborate with the President in the development, communication, and implementation of effective growth strategies and processes.
- Motivate and lead a high-performance team and foster a success-oriented, accountable environment within the company.
- Represents the Company and organization with major customers, business partners, and the public.
- Execute programs and proposals within scope, cost, and schedule requirements in balance to the satisfaction of the customer and management
- Participates in the preparation of the budget coordination and preparation, execution, and execution of financial reporting.
- Fosters employee alignment with corporate goals and objectives.
- Oversee and manage client contact and engagement programs.
- Identify, initiate, and cultivate relationships with current and prospective clients; collaborate with leadership to secure organic growth and new projects, and partnerships.
- Represent the company in interactions with clients, partner organizations, and industry professionals.
- Maintain strong visibility and involvement in professional, marketing, and community organizations.
- Proactively seek and pursue organic and new business opportunities
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Engineering or Construction Management
- 10+ years of experience in the US Federal Architecture, Engineering, and Construction Industry
- Supporting USACE or NAVFAC preferred
- 10+ years of experience in Business Management supporting the Public Sector
- 10+ years of experience in Operations Management supporting the Public Sector
- 5+ years of experience in US Federal Business Strategy and Development, including program budgets and financial management
- Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred
- Background check required with the ability to obtain a Secret clearance
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Demonstrable abilities to successfully manage cost, schedule, performance and risk across a portfolio of contracts and task orders
- Must have the knowledge and ability to complete and work within a fast-paced
- culture operating in the federal and defense market space.
- Work requires continual attention to detail in composing, typing, and proofing materials, establishing priorities, and meeting deadlines.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demands.
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills.
- Must have the ability to upgrade to a TS clearance
- Must have the ability to work nights, weekends, and Holidays as required.
- Must have knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database (MSWord, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, MS Project), Outlook and 0365 SharePoint
