How a Principal Systems Engineer will make an Impact:
- SME level support for large deployments of Microsoft Exchange environments and messaging systems.
- Manage, maintain, and upgrade existing Microsoft Exchange servers.
- Troubleshoot complex problems in Microsoft Exchange environments.
- Implement backup and recovery solutions, ensuring data integrity.
- Participate in system design and changes related to Microsoft Exchange.
- Collaborate with other engineers to enhance email systems.
- Providing technical support to end users for software and/or hardware issues.
- Ensuring the security and integrity of system and product solutions.
What You'll need to Succeed:
- Education: BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, or other related scientific or technical discipline required.
- Required Experience: 8+ years
- Required Technical Skills: DoD 8140/8570 IAT III compliance
- Security Clearance Level: Active Top Secret
- Required Skills and Abilities: Strong verbal and interpersonal skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast paced, dynamic environment. Ability to convey conceptual ideas both written and verbally; Strong problem-solving skills
- Location: Washington, District of Columbia; limited telework may be available
