Ventus Solutions is seeking an experienced Modernization and Installation Support Specialist for a critical Navy priority program. The selected candidate will assist with submarine alteration and fielding activities, ensuring successful planning, coordination, and execution across the submarine combat system enterprise. This role requires a strong understanding of submarine combat systems, fielding processes, and documentation review. The ideal candidate will be a former Fire Control Technician (FT) background or an individual with significant AN/BYG-1 system experience capable of supporting technical coordination and installation readiness. Expected efforts include the following:
Maintain and reconcile AN/BYG-1 Installation Matrix data with SMART and monitor for changes.
Track alteration status and contribute to Maintenance Advisory Board (MAB) and Hardware Review Board (HRB) briefs.
Prepare and deliver Government-Furnished Information (GFI) packages .
Review vendor data, Interface Control Documents (ICDs), and installation documentation prior to delivery.

Required Experience:
Experience with the AN/BYG-1 Combat and Weapon Control System, operations, maintenance, and modernization support.
Familiarity with PMS, SWFTS, TYCOM, NUWC, and SIIMO coordination processes in multiple submarine maintenance environments
Strong technical writing, documentation, and fielding plan development skills.
Experience with VISIO, MS Project and MS Office Products
Ability to operate independently and effectively communicate across multiple organizations.
Dynamic, detail-oriented professional comfortable with document reviews, system integration planning, and cross-team collaboration.

Desired Experience:
Prior experience as a U.S. Navy Submarine Fire Control Technician (FT) or extensive AN/BYG-1 combat system background.
Associate or bachelor’s Degree
Experience coordinating installation and fielding activities with SIIMO, NUWC, TYCOM, and SWFTS stakeholders.
Familiarity with VISIO packages and quality assurance of installation documentation.
Working knowledge of SMART, GFI, ICDs, VISIO/NNAL, and related submarine installation documentation.
The expected salary range for this position is $115,000–$145,000. This range represents a good-faith estimate and is not a guarantee; final compensation is determined by factors such as experience, qualifications, and government contract labor rate requirements and may fall outside the stated range.
