What You Will Be Doing
As a Senior Proposal Analyst, you will play a critical role in shaping the financial foundation of F-35 development and sustainment programs. You will serve as a pricing expert, partnering with engineering, supply chain, contracts, finance, and customer-facing teams to develop accurate, data-driven cost estimates and pricing packages. Your work directly supports proposal submissions, contract negotiations, and long-term program planning, ensuring our pricing approaches are competitive, defensible, and aligned with customer and corporate expectations. This is a high-visibility role that demands strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to influence across functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, analyze, and refine labor, material, and other direct cost estimates to support complex proposals for F-35 development and customer programs.
- Prepare well-supported pricing packages that align with program requirements, cost principles, and customer expectations.
- Collaborate with engineering, material estimating, supply chain, contracts, finance, and program teams to ensure accuracy and consistency across all proposal inputs.
- Perform in-depth cost analyses, evaluate historical data, and apply estimating methodologies to support defensible pricing strategies.
- Support internal reviews, customer fact-finding, and negotiations by providing clear rationale, documentation, and expert insight into cost elements.
- Ensure compliance with internal estimating policies, Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), and Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) audit requirements.
- Contribute to pricing process improvements, cost-modeling enhancements, and cross-functional integration efforts.
- Provide guidance to junior analysts and assist with knowledge sharing across the team.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or 5 years experience in the absence of a Bachelors Degree
- 3+ years of experience in a pricing / estimating related field
Desired Skills:
- Excellent written, oral, and task coordination
skills.
- Estimating and/or Pricing Experience.
- Negotiations experience.
- Knowledge of the proposal process and BOEs.
- Current Secret or Top Secret clearance.
- Experience with Microsoft Office tools,
especially Excel spreadsheets.
- PROPRICER experience.
- Familiarity or experience with FAR, Part 15 proposal requirements.
- Experience coordinating complex estimates with
changing requirements and deadlines.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
