Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for supporting the team in various ways. You will play a key part in ATG's support of various USSOUTHCOM efforts to deter aggression, defeat threats, protect National Security, rapidly respond to crisis situations and build various areas of responsibility (AOR) Information Technology (IT) capacity. Our team will provide direct support to implement and sustain mission critical IT networks and robust cyber defense services.

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
- Analyze Science, Engineering, business, and other data processing problems to implement and improvement customer systems.
- Analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing systems and review computer system capabilities, workflow, and schedule limitation.
- May analyze or recommend commercially available software.
- Possesses and applies a comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high impact assignments.
- Plans and leads major technology assignments.
- Evaluates performance results and recommends major changes affecting short-term project growth and success.
- Functions as a technical expert across multiple project assignments.
- Leads the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of complex computer systems, network servers, and virtualization technologies, including those in critical or high-security environments
- Possess advanced knowledge of operating systems, server hardware, virtualization platforms, network infrastructure, and security best practices
- Install, configure, and upgrade complex systems and software, ensuring optimal performance, security, and availability
- Troubleshoot complex hardware and software errors, using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques to identify and resolve critical issues
- Develop and maintain comprehensive system documentation, including configuration guides, troubleshooting procedures, and Disaster Recovery Plans
- Lead the implementation of automation processes to streamline IT operations and improve efficiency
- Mentor and provide guidance to mid-level Systems Administrators, fostering their professional development and technical expertise
- Contribute to the planning and implementation of IT infrastructure projects, ensuring alignment with organizational needs and industry best practices
- Provides direction and mentorship to subordinate staff
Required:
- Security Clearance Level: Must hold an active Secret clearance.
- Bachelor's Degree and nine (9) Years of experience
- Associates degree and eleven (11) years or High School Diploma and thirteen (13) years may be substituted in leu of Bachelor's degree.
- 8+ Years experience in Microsoft Systems Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) and or Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) with 5 years intense/heavy use of SCCM or MECM.
- Experience in large scale patch management or software distribution or operating system deployment and HW/SW inventory management.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, common attack vectors, and defense strategies Familiarity with incident response frameworks and best practices (e.g., NIST SP 800-61)
- Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) tools
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Possesses and applies a comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high impact assignments.
- Plans and leads major technology assignments.
- Evaluates performance results and recommends major changes affecting short-term project growth and success.
- Functions as a technical expert across multiple project assignments.
- May supervise others.
- Experience in large, distributed IT enterprises
- Experience in Microsoft Intune preferred.
- ITIL Foundation Certificate
- Experience in DoD or Government IT support environment
- Work to be performed out of Key West, FL supporting various missions across the area of responsibility.
