Our DoD/Aerospace client is looking to fill an Altium PCB Designer position that just opened in McLeansville, NC. In this role, you will contribute to the development of circuit card assemblies (CCAs) used in high-reliability undersea communication systems. To be considered, you will have an Associate's degree and 7+ years of related experience.

Pay: $55.01/hour

Qualifications
Education:
- Associate's degree or equivalent experience required
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience
Clearance Requirements
- A Department of Defense Secret clearance is preferred or must be obtainable within a reasonable timeframe after hire
- Selected applicants will undergo a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
- Due to the nature of work performed, U.S. citizenship is required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum 4 years of experience using Altium for PCB design
- Ability to work onsite in McLeansville, NC three or more days per week
What Sets You Apart
- Experience with Altium Designer 27 or Altium IPC footprint and schematic generators
- Experience with library management in Altium or Xpedition
- Knowledge of Mentor Graphics tools (xDM, Xpedition, DXdatabook, BoardStation, HyperLynx)
- Experience with schematic capture in Xpedition and Altium
- 3D modeling experience in SolidWorks, NX, or CREO
- Experience using Footprint Expert
- Circuit design and hands?on prototyping experience
- Basic knowledge of IPC and manufacturing standards
- Strong understanding of CCA fabrication techniques
- Ability to communicate with suppliers regarding design documentation packages
- Experience with documentation capture, including:
- Bills of material (BOMs)
- ODB++ fabrication packages
- 3D model generation

- Onsite work is performed at the McLeansville, NC facility
