We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Graphics Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the driving force behind visually engaging designs that elevate our brand and business communications. You will manage the full lifecycle of graphic projects-from concept to execution-while ensuring quality, timeliness, and alignment with strategic objectives. This position offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and influence the visual identity of our organization.
This position will perform work onsite at our client location in Virginia Beach, VA.

Key Responsibilities
Design & Branding Excellence
- Analyze requirements and develop innovative branding solutions, including logos, websites, and marketing campaigns that resonate with target audiences.
- Support Organizational Graphics needs, including logo creation, design, and editing.
Creative Production
- Utilize industry-leading tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and emerging applications to create compelling visual assets, including image retouching and photo enhancements.
- Produce high-quality Organizational Deliverables such as briefings, brochures, handouts, and displays - in both digital and print formats.
Project Leadership
- Organize, manage, and deliver multiple projects simultaneously with proactive problem-solving and clear communication of creative solutions.
Technical Expertise
- Apply knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and color models (RGB, CMYK) to produce visually optimized designs.
- Incorporate UI/UX principles for seamless digital experiences.
- Demonstrate strong fluency with Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word) and M365 tools, including SharePoint Online.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform, especially Power Apps, is beneficial.
Collaboration
- Partner with web development teams to enhance customer-facing products and ensure cohesive design integration.
- Work directly with internal teams, including those with military backgrounds, to ensure designs support mission and organizational objectives.
Other Duties
- Perform additional functions as required to support organizational goals.
Requirements
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in a related field and 5+ years of professional experience in graphic design and digital media.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and familiarity with web technologies and UI/UX design principles.
- Strong fluency in Microsoft tools including Office Suite and SharePoint Online.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present creative concepts clearly.
- Must currently hold and maintain a Top Secret security clearance.
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Prior military service or familiarity with military organizations, structures, and networks is useful and valued.
