Position Overview
The IT Engineering Support Manager is responsible for leading, coordinating, and overseeing IT operations and engineering support for U.S. Networks and Mission Partner Environments across the entire Korean Peninsula. This role supports a 4-star sub-unified combatant command and a staff of approximately 1,200 personnel. The manager will ensure reliable, secure, and mission-ready IT services while directing a large team of engineering and cyber professionals in a dynamic, high-visibility environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage IT engineering support operations across geographically dispersed U.S. Networks and Mission Partner Environments in Korea.
- Oversee daily IT operations supporting approximately 1,200 personnel within a 4-star sub-unified combatant command.
- Direct, mentor, and manage a team of 30+ engineering, cyber, and technical support personnel.
- Coordinate engineering priorities, service delivery, and incident response to ensure mission success and continuous network availability.
- Develop and implement processes, policies, and standards that enhance security, efficiency, and operational effectiveness.
- Liaise with military leadership, mission partners, and external stakeholders to synchronize IT support with ongoing operations and emerging requirements.
- Manage contract performance, staffing, resource allocation, and reporting in accordance with customer expectations and organizational standards.
- Ensure compliance with DoD cybersecurity, network security, and risk management requirements.
- Support planning, modernization, and integration efforts for enterprise-level IT systems and infrastructure.
Required Qualifications
- Active Secret Clearance (or the ability to obtain and maintain).
- Five (5) or more years of experience managing an engineering and/or cyber contract with 30+ personnel .
- Proven experience leading IT operations for enterprise environments or mission-critical networks.
- Strong understanding of DoD IT environments, cybersecurity requirements, and Joint/Coalition operations.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with senior military leadership in high-tempo settings.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting U.S. Forces Korea (USFK), INDOPACOM, or other overseas joint operations.
- ITIL, PMP, CISSP, or other relevant certifications.
- Experience with Mission Partner Environments (MPE), coalition networks, or enterprise modernization efforts.
- Strong communication, briefing, and stakeholder-coordination skills.
