The Leidos Digital Modernization Sector his a career opportunity for a Systems Integrator to join the team.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in providing holistic solutions for a variety of customers, including leading and coordinating project and task execution, conducting assessments of customer issues to determine requirements, quality control of solutions and managing solutions through the lifecycle. Candidate should have at least 12+ years of experience in Systems Engineering. Selected candidate will be assisting a small team of Systems Engineers to determine the customer's requirements, designing the solution and assisting in maintaining and securing those solutions, as well as providing input on the design of the production systems. Candidates should have experience with DoD security tools (ACAS, STIGs), operating systems (Windows, Linux (RHEL) and Cisco network gear). Candidate will play a role in determining and documenting technical way forward for program.
Candidate should be able to communicate clearly, verbally and in writing, to team leadership and government customers, including the government representative, as well as the team itself. There will be daily interaction with the team, customers and Government representatives.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Meet with customers, both new and current, to establish and manage requirements for new customers, tracking of solutions to acceptance criteria, overseeing of changes in requirements, leading and coordinating team effort to meet customer requirements and delivering updated status (either verbally or in written form). Establish a business rhythm to meet all customers at various time intervals.
- Assist Program management in development of Technical Roadmap which meets DTRA customer and mission requirements. Recommend new technologies, solutions and/or products, all meeting DoD security standards. Solutions should show an understanding of not only the technical issues but also financial requirements (i.e. licenses). Work with team to determine products needed for procurement, including expiration dates and length of contracts, all while guaranteeing no loss of service to customers.
- Manage team's effort in completing DISA STIG checklists as they are released, working with teams to apply all changes as necessary, answer any technical questions that may arise, plan and schedule ERB/CCB meeting and review implementation and documentation of solutions.
- Report on any technical, quality, personnel or financial issues found to government and Program management. Meet with team members regularly, including Project Engineer to determine any roadblocks or issues preventing progress of solutions. Assist in creation of report, to include weekly and monthly reports to government representative, as well as ad hoc requests for information.
- Develop and maintain standard documentation such as security policies, work instructions, standard operating procedures and processes.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree and 12+ years of prior relevant experience or additional relevant working experience in lieu of degree.
- System Engineering experience with Windows and Linux.
- Experienced in security hardening for all systems.
- Experience with Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS).
- Project Management/Engineering to include quality assurance, quality control.
- Top Secret Clearance required.
- Current, unexpired, CompTIA Security +CE (or equivalent) – will be verified before hiring.
- Experience briefing senior government, military and contract management.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Project.
- Experience with security documentation (including POAMs and STIG checklists).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with testing solutions, including quality assurance/quality control, and determining risk and opportunities.
- Windows or Linux RHEL administration.
- Experience using JIRA for ticket and project tracking.
- Hands-on experience with software approval process, including COTS and GOTS products.
