Business Development Manager

Qualifications:
- 3-7 years' experience in federal business development, early capture, or proposals.
- Bachelor's Degree (Business, Marketing, or technical field preferred)
- Demonstrated "fast-track" career progression with a hunger to grow and a passion for problem-solving.
- Strong analytical skills; able to research opportunities via intelligence tools (e.g. SAM.gov, GovWin, and FPDS).
- Strong communication, writing, and presentation skills; ability to draft persuasive content.
- Capable of working independently in a fast-paced small business environment, taking ownership of tasks and driving them to completion while staying aligned with team goals.
- Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain one.
- Comfortable working with Financial, Proposal, and Product teams during the Capture process.
Responsibilities:
- Research and qualify new opportunities aligned to corporate capabilities using tools like GovWin and SAM.gov.
- Attend industry events and build relationships, working closely with the Growth team and executives to expand the company network.
- Create customer-ready marketing assets, including capability briefings, white papers, and past performance citations.
- Support early shaping activities, including customer meetings, requirement gathering, and preliminary win strategy development.
- Support capture efforts with call plans, competitive analysis, teaming recommendations, and solution alignment.
- Write and edit specific proposal sections (e.g., management volumes, resumes) and participate in Pink/Red Team reviews.
- Coordinate with technical teams, partners, and SMEs to develop preliminary solution concepts.
- Track opportunities in the CRM and prepare pipeline, contact, and intel summaries for leadership.
- Collaborate with Program Managers to prospect and identify on-contract growth (OCG) opportunities and support transition activities on newly awarded contracts.
- Conduct market research to identify incumbent performance gaps and procurement forecasts.
