Senior Operations Specialist (Research Management)
Location: Joint Base Langley/Fort Eustis, VA
Employment Class: Full Time Regular

Position Summary:
Potawatomi Training, LLC is actively seeking a qualified Senior Operations Specialist (Research Management) who has three years' experience as part of MEDCOM Program Analysis and Evaluation Directorate or equivalent. The position will perform the following:
• Elicits, analyzes, validates and documents business, organizational and/or operational requirements to support the business needs of stakeholders including the Defense Health Agency (DHA), the Army Medical Department (AMEDD), MEDCOM, Enhanced Multi-Service Markets (eMSMs), Regional Health Commands (RHCs), and MTFs.
• Develops solutions driven by requirements and supported by data to include statistical analysis, research design and decision support to improve decision making, knowledge management, and business practices at all levels of the organization.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Coordinate, review, and provide SME input to Army and TRADOC regulations, policy, and plans that affect the organization's mission, and assist with the rewrite of necessary publications, with the Army Staff, TRADOC HQ, and subordinate elements as applicable.
• When directed, develop a Plan of Action and Milestones (POAM) for each project upon initial assignment of work. Maintain up to date POAM throughout projects.
• Research current Army and TRADOC publications to discover any publication needing updates due to changes in organizations for all publications to be consistent with policy.
• Coordinate across Command as applicable to solicit and coordinate medical support, clinical and readiness operational requirements
• Coordinate, process and synchronize medical operations and Soldier readiness actions, information, and data associated with medical readiness functions across the Army Staff, TRADOC HQ and subordinate elements.
• Clearly and effectively communicate orally, graphically, and in writing while facilitating the TRADOC Medical Operational and Soldier Readiness plans and other documents. (TRADOC Reg 1-11)
• Develop new and innovative techniques, establishes criteria, and develops arrangements based on merging data in uncertain, rapidly changing environments.
• Conduct special studies to determine reason for deviation from established standards or other specific problems, and recommends action to correct deficiencies
• Participate in Policy and Program Development
• Prepare reports, memos, letters, forms, briefings, emails, and other documents using Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint software. Correct Word documents modify Excel spreadsheets, and PowerPoint presentations to enhance their effectiveness or to repair/correct minor errors.
• Accomplish any training necessary to execute tasks
• Provide customer service as needed and respond to information requests
• Must be physically able to perform all the technical duties
• Must be able to adapt under a highly stressful multi-task environment for extend periods of time
• Work with Military lead.
• Assist with monthly reports.
• Work with all ranks of military leaders in accordance with military rules and regulations.
• Conduct yourself with military bearing and give military leaders their due respect.
• Work in a professional manner with PM, team lead and team members.
• Report to work on time.
• Follow chain of command.
Education & Experience Requirements:
Education:
• Bachelor's Degree is required.
Experience:

• Must be physically able to perform all the technical duties on site (Joint Base Langley Base/Fort Eustis)
• Must be able to adapt under a highly stressful multi-task environment for extend periods of time/up to 8 hours
• If prior service, must have received an honorable discharge
• Applicant will be subject to Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
