MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a Secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
• Competent with regulatory and consensus standards such as OSHA, NFPA, ANSI, etc.
• Experience in Environmental, Safety & Health disciplines such as developing, collecting, maintaining and analyzing program documents, presenting metrics, evaluations and/or inspections, assessments, conducting training for ESH programs.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret level clearance, which requires citizenship.
Desired Skills:
• Bachelor's degree in ESH-related discipline with at least 5 years of professional experience; or 10+ years experience/combined education.
• Excellent project management skills with an emphasis on developing innovative solutions to execute our allocated budget.
• Knowledge of and experience with ESH management system elements, such as ISO 14001/45001 and/or OSHA VPP; Lead auditor certification a plus.
• ASP, CSP, CHST, CIH certification is a plus.
• Ability to make difficult decisions, solve complex issues and influence ESH cultural improvement.
• Ability to respond to internal and external issues to maintain regulatory compliance and enhance the employee experience.
• Experience authoring command media and program documentation.
• Experience in change management and planning activities as they relate to ESH integration and considerations.
• LM21 green or black belt or other continuous improvement tools and techniques knowledge, including thorough root cause analysis and mistake-proofing processes.
• Proficient in reporting and accounting tools used at the site, such as SAP and Lockheed Martin developed systems.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Description:
You will be the Environmental Health & Safety Engineer Staff for Lockheed Martin Missiles & Fire Control in Camden, AR. Our team is responsible for ensuring a safe and compliant operational environment across the site.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Environmental Health & Safety Engineer Staff, you will be responsible for driving safety compliance across the site and supporting the customer's needs.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Implement a safety program to prevent or correct unsafe working conditions, using knowledge of industrial processes, mechanics, chemistry, and industrial health and safety regulations.
- Identify risks, analyzing production operations, storage areas, transportation activity, while focusing on ordnance and energetics safety.
- Interpret, communicate, and facilitate compliance with Lockheed Martin, Department of Defense (DoD), Department of Transportation, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (BATFE) and all federal/state/local ESH regulations.
- Participate in production equipment design, equipment prove out, and material handling reviews while following DoD 4145.26M Contractors Safety Manual for A&E guidelines.
- Participate in Explosive Safety Site Plan (ESSP) reviews and work with consultants to update existing or create new ESSP's.
- Tour plant to inspect fire and safety equipment, machinery, and facilities to identify and correct potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Conducting incident investigations and recommending corrective action solutions.
- Audit and evaluate current policies, procedures, and documentation for site compliance.
- Work with Subject Matter Expert(s) (SME) on program development, supplier assessments, international business activities, and merger/acquisition opportunities.
