What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
- Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.
- Assist with access control for employees, visitors, and contractors at the location, verifying credentials as required.
- Work collaboratively with site personnel and Allied Universal management to address security-related needs.
- Maintain detailed and accurate logs of patrols, incidents, and other relevant activities as required by site procedures.
- Remain alert to potential security-related risks or hazards within the aerospace and defense environment and report findings promptly.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
- An active Department of Defense Secret clearance is required.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
