About The Role
Peraton is seeking a Project Coordinator to support the Space Exploration Networks Services and Evolution (SENSE) contract in support of our NASA customer. This position is based in Greenbelt, MD and requires the candidate to be onsite at Goddard Spaceflight Facility Center (GSFC), with travel to other NASA locations as needed.
As prime contractor, Peraton is responsible for the development, operation, maintenance, sustainment and systems engineering of NASA's worldwide satellite communication networks. In this position, you will conduct the day-to-day tactical duties for assigned tasking within the Chief Systems Engineering Organization. You will be an integral part of a world class team that builds and ensures NASA's space-ground communications are reliable and meet mission requirements.

Target Salary Range: $51,000 - $82,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.

This position will be responsible for the following:
- Support the execution to achieve financial, delivery, and contractual performance targets for assigned projects.
- Supports mechanisms for monitoring project progress and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and customers.
- Supports coordination between resource managers/supervisors and ensures all necessary documentation reviews and approvals are received.
- Assist with development of project presentations.
- Performs vendor management and coordination functions as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
- Degree in business management, finance, accounting, or related field and additional experience as follows: BS/BA degree & 2 years, AS/AA degree & 4 years experience; In lieu of degree, 6 years of related experience is allowable.
- 2+ years of project management or finance support.
- 2+ years of experience working on teams.
- 2+ years of experience in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience using Microsoft tools such as Project, Excel and Word.
- Experience working in SharePoint and Google Workspace.
- Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance, which requires US Citizenship, and maintain the clearance thereafter.
DESIRED EXPERIENCE:
- Prior Experience with NASA programs.
- Experience with calendar management for technical and management teams.
- Experience with organizing key Systems Engineering reviews and meetings and preparing detailed minutes for the leadership team.
