Chief Enterprise Architect

MANTECH seeks a seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Chief Enterprise Architect to join our team in Fayetteville, NC.

This role supports the end-to-end design, integration, and evolution of enterprise architecture solutions across expeditionary and fixed environments where you will help shape and guide the enterprise-wide architectural vision for an open, standards-based, and highly scalable platform. You will design, integrate, and manage systems that enable machine learning analytics and persistent services across hybrid, edge, and cloud environments.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• In this role, you will guide enterprise architecture efforts across complex environments. You will ensure interoperability across systems that integrate manned and unmanned sensors, support secure geospatial rendering and visualization, and enable federated data sharing across coalition networks.
• Direct the development and alignment of the organization's technology strategy with business objectives
• Create and implement enterprise architecture frameworks to integrate IT systems and services
• Develop strategic roadmaps to guide long-term technology initiatives
• Design secure architectures to protect data and enable trusted decision-making
• Deliver scalable and persistent C5ISR services globally using advanced methods
• Design and integrate standardized, interoperable architectures to streamline operations
• Build modular, open source, flexible solutions adaptable to various mission environments
• Enforce security compliance with Zero Trust and RMF frameworks
• Ensure architectural resilience through redundancy and high availability
• Support cloud interoperability between commercial and private platforms
• Lead agile development adoption to foster continuous innovation
• Integrate mobile and wireless capabilities to enhance remote operations

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 12+ years of experience with enterprise-level architecture, and 5+ years with defense or national security missions
• Experience architecting secure SSDLCs and automated CI/CD pipelines across hybrid and multi-cloud environments
• Expertise in platform security evaluation against frameworks like Zero Trust, and integration using open standards
• Ability to define cloud-native, containerized, and edge computing technical strategies
• Proficiency in modeling languages such as BPM, SysML, or UML for interpreting and modifying diagrams

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Systems Engineering, Information Assurance, or Network Architecture
• IAT Level III or IAM Level III certification (or ability to obtain within six months)
• Experience supporting Special Operations Programs or similar environments
• Knowledge of CNSA 2.0, ABAC, C2S, and AI/ML architectures (LLM, SLM, multimodal frameworks)
• Advanced data integration experience to support system interoperability
• Certifications in one or more of the following areas: Architecture (CITA, UAF, DoDAF, FEAF, TOGAF); Agile (SAFe Architect, Certified Scrum Architect); Modeling (BPM, SysML, UML)

Clearance Requirements:

• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility

Physical Requirements:

• The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
