This is a 3 month contract position onsite in Oklahoma City. Salary: $20-28/hour
We are seeking a skilled Help Desk Technician with an active Secret clearance to support end users in a secure government or defense environment. This role provides technical troubleshooting, system support, and incident resolution for desktops, laptops, networks, and mission-critical applications. The ideal candidate has strong customer service skills, technical knowledge, and experience supporting IT systems in a DoD or federally regulated environment.
Responsibilities:
Provide Tier I/II technical support for hardware, software, and network issues, both remotely and on site.
Respond to and resolve help desk tickets, escalating complex issues as necessary.
Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows operating systems, mobile devices, printers, and approved software.
Support account creation and maintenance within Active Directory, M365, and other secure systems.
Maintain, image, deploy, and track government-furnished equipment (GFE).
Ensure compliance with cybersecurity and information security policies (NIST, DoD STIGs).
Prepare and maintain detailed documentation of tasks, procedures, and ticket history.
