Description:The P226 Program Manager reports to the P224/P226 Program Director and is responsible for day-to-day program execution of the Phase-A contract (ATP to PDR). The PM will lead the team through the SRR/SDR and PDR milestones ensuring all cost, schedule and technical objectives are met. They will also serve as the program lead for the competitive Phase B production proposal, directing the technical effort and developing the Basis of Estimate to deliver a differentiated, winning offer.
Responsibilities include:
• Accountable for cost, schedule and technical performance in an EVM lite program model
• Drive readiness for monthly customer engagements (TEMs and PM Tag-ups)
• Define program priorities for the Integrated Product Team (IPT) Leads and provide daily direction / guidance
• Chair risk and opportunity management board and ensure proactive program engagement
• Partner with Capture Manager (CM) to develop a win strategy and implement supporting actions
• Partner with CM and Proposal Manager to develop a winning Phase-B production proposal
Basic Qualifications:
• Experience leading cross functional teams in support of challenging cost, schedule and technical objectives
• Demonstrated project / program management experience (cost/budgeting, schedule, risk evaluation/mitigation, project execution), including earned value management (EVM) or control account management (CAM) experience
• Demonstrated collaboration and teaming skills at all levels of the organization and work experience developing effective customer, stakeholder and partner relationships
• Demonstrated ability to effectively and independently perform in a fast paced, dynamic environment
• Demonstrated ability to balance technical requirements with business needs and affordability
• Active TS/SCI security clearance
Desired Skills:
• Global Security mission area experience
• Large scale development program experience
• High rate production program experience
• Prior capture management or proposal management experience
• Experience working with high dollar value, complex subcontracts
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with proven track record of successfully interacting with LM Executives, customers, and mission partners

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $151,200 - $266,570. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
