Lockheed Martin Rotary & Mission Systems is seeking a full-time Early Career Contracts Manager. In this role, you will be reviewing and interpreting contract requirements, leading and coordinating efforts in preparing proposals and subsequent negotiations, and ensuring proper contract compliance/execution. The successful candidate will have experience establishing strong customer relationships, drafting or editing documents, and navigating conflict resolution.
This position is a part of the Early Career Development Program (ECDP) within the Finance and Business Operations (F&BO) function. The program is approximately 2.5 to 3 years in duration (may vary based on employee's start date), and typically consists of a standardized training curriculum, various learning and networking opportunities and formal mentorship, all of which are designed to provide a broad background in various facets of F&BO at Lockheed.
Must be a US Citizen.; This position will require a government security clearance.; This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Basic Qualifications:
-Bachelor's Degree required from an accredited college in business management, finance, law, supply chain or related discipline .
-Proficient in Microsoft Suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint with ability to grasp other software applications required to perform job duties.
- Demonstrated ability to comprehend financial and business concepts.
- Proficient in written and oral communication.
- Basic knowledge of organizing a system of records.
- Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a Top Secret government security clearance.
Desired Skills:
- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret contract language, assess associated risks, and spot cost saving opportunities
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain customer relationships.
- Ability to maintain versatility and flexibility in demanding situations.
- Familiar with government contracting and/or negotiations experience.

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $52,300 - $92,230. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
