Description:Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control is looking to hire a Quality Engineer to support S&GS.

What You Will Be Doing
The selected candidate will apply quality principles in the areas of: design, incoming material, production control, product evaluation, program performance, reliability, inventory control, and/or research and development as they apply to product or process quality for make and/or buy products.

They will also perform technical evaluations including product requirements, specifications, models/designs, drawings and procedures.

Additional responsibilities include:
-Collaborating with program management, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain and customers on quality related issues to ensure quality standards are in place.

-Engaging in product failure investigations, material review board decisions and corrective/preventive action.

-Ensuring corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards and/or are compliant with requirements.

-Developing strategies and systems designed to improve internal and/or supplier performance and productivity.

-Evaluating quality systems for deficiency identification and correction.

-Designing and analyzing inspection and testing processes, mechanisms and equipment; conducting product quality tests, performing statistical analysis to assess products or materials that do not meet required standards and specifications.

Basic Qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering from an accredited college

-2+ years of professional experience with bachelor's degree

-Selected candidate must be a US citizen and have the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance

-Root Cause Analysis tools application
Desired Skills:
-GD&T Experience

-SAP Experience

-Electronics and Manufacturing Environment Experience

-Green or Black Belt Certification

-AS9102 interpretation and application experience

-Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
