Security Clearance Requirement:
An active Top Secret SCI w/Polygraph security clearance is required for this position.

Job Description:
Parsons is looking for a talented Specialized Service Coordinator (SSC) to join our team! In this role, you will provide expert guidance and oversight for protocol-related matters and travel activities, ensuring seamless execution and adherence to organizational standards.
What You'll Be Doing
- Provide guidance, planning, and solutions for complex protocol scenarios to ensure activities and events adhere to established standards and customs.
- Offer oversight and quality control by reviewing plans and executions for accuracy and compliance.
- Align protocol activities to support mission services, organizational goals, and ongoing initiatives, avoiding conflicts and maximizing impact.
- Mentor and support team members facing challenging or unfamiliar protocol situations.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the seamless execution of protocol-sensitive tasks.
- Oversee all travel-related activities within the mission support area, ensuring compliance with organizational policies, budget guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
- Review and approve travel requests, offering expert guidance on complex or unfamiliar situations, such as diplomatic international travel or special accommodations.
- Monitor travel arrangements for accuracy, resolve issues as they arise, and maintain thorough records of travel activities and expenses.
- Mentor and support staff to streamline travel planning, reduce errors, and provide a consistent, high-quality travel experience.
- Perform additional service duties as needed.
What Required Skills You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Proven experience in protocol planning, travel coordination, or related fields.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to mentor and support team members in challenging situations.
