Description
SAIC is seeking an IT Audio Visual Engineer located in Hawaii to support USINDOPACOM J76 at K. Mark Takai Pacific Warfighting Center to provide Tier I and Tier II VTC support during exercises and events, as well as, the maintenance and lifecycle management of all A/V and VTC assets of the Pacific Warfighting Center.

• Bachelors and nine (9)+ years of related experience; four (4) years of experience accepted in lieu of degree.
REQUIRED CLEARANCE:
• Must have an Active Secret clearance and the ability to obtain TS/SCI.
• Must be a current US Citizen.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATION:
• Candidate must possess a Security+ certification prior to starting.
Target salary range: $80,001 - $120,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Provide A/V and VTC support in preparation for and during events at the Pacific Warfighting Center and other deployed locations.
- Support VTC's for J7 and Pacific Warfighting Center.
- Lead/coordinate new capability and upgrade projects.
- May be called upon to work in shifts or early morning calls with DC or EUCOM.
- Provide Tier II troubleshooting support for VTC and A/V equipment.
- Provide training to reservists and junior techs on VTC and A/V equipment.
- Create training materials and write SOPs.
- Conduct comms check before events.
- Conduct regular health check of equipment.
- Manage equipment 'lifecycle':
- Conduct research into new and better A/V technologies.
- Make recommendations for procurement.
- Assemble BOMs (Build of Materials).
- Work with engineering teams to design and install new equipment.
- Monitor procurement process and provide status updates.
- Make sure we have backups of critical components (e.g., projector lamps).
- Track warranties, licenses and renewals.
- DRMO old equipment.
- May be required to support overseas events.
- Need to be able to meet host country entry requirements.
Qualifications
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
• Bachelors and nine (9)+ years of related experience; four (4) years of experience accepted in lieu of degree.
- Proven working experience in the above fields including installing, configuring and troubleshooting A/V and VTC equipment.
- Working knowledge of telephony and teleconferencing technologies (Phone Bridges, [EC]-VOIP, Polycom, STE, ViPER, Red Switch, Omni)
- Familiarity with collaborative tools such as GVS, Teams, WebEx, and Zoom, and their adherence to DISA STIG, SRG's and OPSEC related to VTC operations.
- Working knowledge of Cisco, Poly, Extron, Crestron and AMX devices and equipment
- Basic knowledge of IP networking, Office applications, and Windows clients.
- Knowledge of Analog and Digital audio mixers; Python programming knowledge is desired but not required.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs safely and work on ladders.
