As part of the EASS eCMS program supporting modernization and sustainment of VA acquisition systems, the Project Coordinator / Scheduler supports planning, scheduling, documentation management, reporting, and coordination activities across project and program teams. This role ensures accurate tracking of timelines, dependencies, milestones, and action items and facilitates communication and alignment across stakeholders.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Maintain project schedules, timelines, tasks, dependencies, and milestone tracking.
• Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, capture minutes, and track follow-up actions.
• Develop and update dashboards, metrics, reports, and communication materials.
• Track progress toward milestones and escalate schedule concerns or delays.
• Maintain project documentation repositories including controlled versions of deliverables.
• Support release readiness and cross-functional alignment activities.
• Prepare materials for planning sessions, stakeholder reviews, and governance meetings.
• Assist with data gathering, metrics compilation, and documentation quality checks.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in project coordination, scheduling, or PMO support roles.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities.
• Experience maintaining project schedules and documenting task progress.
• Strong communication, writing, and summarization skills.
• Ability to collaborate with technical and functional teams across the organization.
• Experience preparing reports, dashboards, or scheduling artifacts.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS DESIRED:
• Experience working with Federal agencies, particularly the Department of Veterans Affairs.
• Experience supporting Agile or iterative development teams.
• Knowledge of project governance, PMO processes, or performance reporting.
• Familiarity with environments built on Azure, .NET, SQL Server, IIS, and related VA enterprise technologies.
EDUCATION:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
CLEARANCE:
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
WORK LOCATION:
• Remote
