What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including both the business area and perimeter, to help to deter unwanted activity.
- Observe and report any unusual activity or circumstances to the appropriate personnel.
- Assist with access control and visitor management according to site-specific guidelines.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and staff while performing security-related duties.
- Support Allied Universal management and site leadership with additional security-related tasks as required.
Minimum Requirements:
- Applicants must have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
- An active Department of Defense Secret Clearance is required.
- Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
