ECS is seeking an Undersea Systems SME to provide technical project management support for several ongoing efforts supporting development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) solutions for the Department of Defense. This critical role will serve as a central point of contact, facilitating communication and coordination between various stakeholders, including government agencies, prime contractors, subcontractors, and internal program teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring seamless information flow, resolving conflicts, and promoting collaboration to achieve program objectives.

This critical role will serve as a central point of contact, facilitating communication and coordination between various stakeholders, including government agencies, prime contractors, subcontractors, and internal program teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring seamless information flow, resolving conflicts, and promoting collaboration to achieve program objectives.
Position Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of Navy undersea warfare systems and related technologies.
- Support the translation of technical information and requirements between engineering teams and non-technical stakeholders (e.g., program managers, contracting officers).
- Assist in the development, review, and analysis of technical documentation, including specifications, drawings, and test reports.
- Identify potential technical risks and issues, and escalate them to the appropriate technical experts.
- Facilitate technical discussions and working groups, ensuring that all stakeholders have a clear understanding of the technical aspects of the program.
- Coordinate the exchange of technical data and information between different organizations, ensuring compliance with security regulations.
- Support the integration of new technologies and capabilities into existing undersea warfare systems.
- Track and monitor technical performance metrics, and report on progress to program management.
Salary Range: $140,000 - $175,000
Required Skills
- Must be a US Citizen
- Must have a Secret Clearance and be able to obtain a Top-Secret Clearance
- Bachelor's degree in National Security, Defense, Business, or Project Management
- Experience in developing and managing projects, to include project teams, prioritization of lines of effort, planning, and scheduling
- Demonstrated experience in facilitating communication and collaboration between diverse stakeholders
- 8-10+ years of relevant work experience
- Experience working with the US Navy
- Familiarity with relevant military and industry standards (e.g., MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461, etc.)
- Understanding of software development methodologies (e.g. SCRUM, Agile, Kanban, JIRA)
- Proficient with technology such as MS office Suite, ticket tracking systems etc.
- Proactive and organized, with strong attention to detail
- A critical thinker with the ability to tackle discrete objectives while maintaining focus on the bigger picture / broader strategy
- Advanced ability to proactively, professionally, clearly, and concisely communicate with peers and executives orally and in writing
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment with firm deadlines and critical, quick turnaround, ad-hoc tasks
- Flexible; comfortable with ambiguity, competing priorities, matrixed organizations, and multiple stakeholders
- A team player with proven ability to positively interact with peers and executive management
- Active DoD Top-Secret clearance
- Experience serving as a Naval Officer or Senior Enlisted (E7+) in a relevant field (e.g., submarine warfare, undersea systems) is preferred
- An understanding of AWS and or Azure/cloud-based technologies with a desire to learn more.
- Prior project team/project management experience (e.g., planning, requirements, financial management, documentation, client reporting, quality control, scheduling, etc.)
- Prior supervisory experience
- Knowledge of the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFARs) and Government Procurement
