- Configuring and maintaining Linux-based servers and supporting the development, testing, and production hosting of custom enterprise business applications on behalf of a Government customer.
- Contributing to application and database migration activities.
- Developing scripts for automation of build-out, maintenance, and configuration of virtualized systems.
- Deployment of updates, IAVA patches, and Anti-Virus updates.
- Maintaining web application hosting systems to include web servers, database servers, and associated development systems (e.g. Team Foundation Server).
- Maintaining system reliability and uptime of production applications by measuring and monitoring availability, latency, and overall system health.
- Contributing to system configuration management in accordance with contract inventory and customer requirements.
- Creating, updating, and maintaining technical documentation including process diagrams, standard operating procedures, and system documentation.
- Coordination with customer ISSE to ensure security accreditation of all project IT systems. This includes writing documentation and plans to successfully navigate ICD 503 and customer's unique security requirements.
- Troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, and communications problems.
