Description: NSI requires a Senior Operations Logistics Manager to support PMA 265 F/A-18E/F Infrared Search and Tracking (IRST) weapons system. Provides direct guidance to logistics personnel in developing and executing Integrated Product Support (IPS) strategies, with specific emphasis on alternative product support concepts, supply chain planning, sustainment strategies, and execution of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) elements for in-service naval weapons systems. Reviews and analyzes logistics inputs from fleet activities, Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), and prime contractors-including Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), Site Activation inputs, Weapon Systems Planning Documents (WSPDs), training plans, production/training schedules, and technical investigations-to ensure alignment with IRST sustainment requirements. Participates in and supports Integrated Product Support Management Team (IPSMT) reviews, Readiness Improvement initiatives, Maintenance Engineering reviews, and other technical/logistics working groups. Performs tasks associated with developing detailed business processes such as Performance-Based Logistics (PBL) strategies, Logistics Requirements Funding Summary (LRFS) inputs, degraded analysis, logistics ECPs, cost-per-flight-hour initiatives, and Product Support Manager's (PSM's) implementation for the PMA-265 IRST enterprise. Develops and maintains program documentation, including the F/A-18E/F IRST Life-Cycle Sustainment Plan Statement of Work (SOW) and Public-Private Partnership SOWs and Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs). Serves as an Authoritative Reviewer for IRST CDRLs from prime and subcontractor organizations to ensure accuracy, compliance, and alignment with program sustainment needs. Manages IRST Government-Owned Property (GOP), including tracking, accountability, and loan processes between the Government, OEM, and Prime Aircraft contractors. Maintains IRST storage databases, ensuring accurate configuration, inventory, and delivery scheduling for pods and subassemblies assigned to East and West Coast fleet activities. Provides data-driven cost, trend, and logistics footprint analyses to support provisioning, depot/squadron standup activities, and reduction of Total Ownership Cost (TOC). Develops Business Case Analyses (BCAs) and sustainment recommendations enabling informed PMA-265 programmatic decisions.

Education: MS or MA Degree in Logistics Management, Business, Engineering, or Management.
Allowable Substitution: A Bachelor's Degree plus four (4) years of additional relevant experience may substitute for a Master's Degree.
Experience: At least ten (10) years of operational logistics and aviation sustainment experience, including direct support to F/A-18E/F fleet units and weapons systems. 4+ years directing or guiding logistics and technical personnel in support of IRST sustainment activities and IPS element analysis. 4+ years of fleet-support logistics experience for PMA-265 programs. 2+ years of specialized IRST logistics planning experience, including independent execution of sustainment planning, scheduling, logistics analysis, and lifecycle support tasks for DoD aviation systems.
Security Clearance: Secret Clearance is required. Must be a U.S. citizen.
