DirectViz Solutions (DVS) is seeking a Senior Data Management Analyst to support the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) by managing and analyzing data across classified and unclassified IT and cyber environments. This role ensures the accuracy, integrity, and security of mission-critical data supporting Navy operations.
The analyst provides actionable insights on system performance, cybersecurity compliance, and IT service delivery to improve reliability and mission readiness. Working closely with technical and leadership teams, the Senior Data Analyst leverages tools such as SQL, ServiceNow, SharePoint, and Power BI to drive data-informed decisions and continuous improvement across NSWCDD's IT enterprise.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collect, validate, and manage data across classified and unclassified Navy networks to ensure accuracy, integrity, and compliance with DoD/DON standards.
- Analyze system performance, incident trends, and network utilization to support mission readiness and reliability improvements.
- Develop dashboards and reports (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, SQL, SharePoint) to deliver actionable insights for leadership and technical teams.
- Support cybersecurity compliance by analyzing data from eMASS, STIG Manager, and related tools to track controls, POA&Ms, and RMF metrics.
- Use ServiceNow and ITSM analytics to monitor SLAs, asset management, and configuration data for performance optimization.
- Collaborate with system, network, and cybersecurity teams to ensure data consistency and support data-driven decision-making.
- Identify opportunities to automate data workflows and improve reporting efficiency using analytics and process improvement methods.
Required Qualifications:
Experience:
- 10 or more years experience in engineering/science management, operations research analysis or financial/cost analysis. Significant experience in U.S. Navy programs or operations.
- Six (6) years of professional experience in relation to developing and maintaining documentation and or data management systems. Define the nature and extent of problems. Collect, review, and analyze information to make recommendations to the Government. Qualifying experience in a Windows environment, Microsoft Office (Excel and Word).
Certifications: One of the following
- CASP
- CISA
- CISSP (or Assoc)
- GCED
- GCIH
Clearance: Active Secret security clearance.
Preferred Skills and Knowledge:
- Bachelor's degree in a business or technical field (preferred).
