Drive certification strategy, ensure compliance with FAA, EASA and other applicable regulatory authorities, and coordinate across program management, engineering SMEs, suppliers and internal stakeholders to deliver complete, high quality certification artifacts on schedule and within scope
Lead cross-functional certification teams and represent the applicant in interactions with regulatory authorities (FAA, EASA, etc.), providing technical rationale, status updates, and negotiation support.
Ensure traceability between requirements, design, verification, and certification deliverables; verify that verification/validation activities adequately demonstrate compliance.
Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Systems, or related engineering discipline.
20+ years of relevant experience in aircraft certification and/or propulsion, fuel systems, or APU engineering on commercial transport programs.
