workflows with a desire to learn and build their career in line with current DoD

Responsibilities:
- Support software design, development, integration, and deployment activities within Agile DevSecOps environments.
- Implement and improve CI/CD pipelines to streamline delivery, testing, and secure deployment workflows.
- Develop, automate, and maintain infrastructure and containerized environments using modern DevSecOps tools and cloud technologies.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of secure, scalable systems aligned with current DoD digital modernization initiatives.
- Document workflows, engineering processes, best practices, and technical standards to support program knowledge sharing and continuity.
- Perform continuous self-guided learning to stay current with emerging DevSecOps methodologies, tools, and DoD technology requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering, cybersecurity, and operations teams to support mission-critical software and infrastructure solutions.
- Assist in identifying opportunities for automation, process optimization, and improved system reliability.
- Troubleshoot issues across the software development lifecycle, including configuration, integration, deployment, and environment management.
Required Skills:
- 2-8 years of experience in software engineering/development
- Experience with container tools like Docker and Podman, container management, and associated technologies like Kubernetes
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and process workflows (GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc)
- Familiarity with version control tools, i.e. Git
- Experience with modern Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Packer, Terraform, Ansible
- Familiarity or experience interacting with modern cloud providers and related technologies, such as Amazon Web Services or Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Services
- Familiarity with processes like: Agile Development, DevOps, and DevSecOps
- Demonstrated skill sets in in at least one or more high-level programming languages (e.g. Golang, Java, C++)
- Demonstrated skillsets in at least one or more scripting languages (e.g. Python, Bash, Powershell

- You must be able to meet required schedules and timelines
