MTSI is seeking a Threat Analyst within a team of intelligence analysts supporting advanced acquisition programs for the United States Air Force. The team is responsible for providing timely and relevant intelligence data products (including briefings, RFI responses, written products, working group participation, etc.) in support of acquisition activities.
Day to day responsibilities include; tailored research, analysis, and production, threat integration across multiple major defense acquisition programs. Creating and delivering briefings, identifying opportunities to collaborate with Intelligence Community agencies and other government departments, developing working level relationships with other Department of War acquisition programs, applying novel approaches to enable knowledge parity that drives informed decision-making, and managing and maintaining various digital libraries and databases.

Required Qualifications
- 15+ years of experience researching, identifying, analyzing, and characterizing current and future all-domain threats (land, air, maritime, electromagnetic, space, etc.) to Air Force operations. Experience should be with integrating the following intelligence types; HUMINT, MASINT, SIGINT, Geospatial intelligence, OSINT, TECHINT.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required. A master's degree is preferred in a scientific, technical, or analytic discipline.
- Expertise in intelligence tradecraft, and analytic processes.
- Ability to conduct all-source intelligence research & analysis.
- Provide well-sourced intelligence assessments, briefings, and RFI responses in conformance with intelligence community analytic standards.
- Support to production and collection requirements activities.
- Perform intelligence supportability analysis to execute requirements generation and tracking of items such as intelligence mission data.
- Distill complex intelligence and technical information into clear, concise reports that can be easily understood by decision-makers at all levels.
- Familiarity with the DOD 5000 series acquisition policies and procedures, and how they relate to intelligence support in the acquisition life cycle.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
- Pay attention to detail and concisely present intelligence findings, analytical reports, and briefings to senior military and civilian leaders.
- Excellent briefing skills.
- Active Top Secret security clearance and additional experience with security duties related to SAP and SCI.
Desired Qualifications
- In-depth understanding of the defense acquisition process, including milestones, budgeting, scheduling, and risk management specific to the development and integration of advanced fighter platforms.
- Understand the operational environment and challenges faced by fighter pilots, particularly in the context of electronic warfare, and threat evasion.
- Skilled in the use of intelligence and analysis tools, including but not limited to intelligence mission databases, modeling and simulation tools, and specialized software for threat analysis.
- Perform technical analysis of systems and platforms, with an understanding of how components interact to create an overall system of systems.
- Knowledge of various threat systems (air, ground, and space) relevant to the advanced fighter platform, including advanced sensors, radar, missiles, and other systems.
