We are seeking a dedicated Integration/Test Engineer who will be responsible for integrating and testing cybersecurity sensing software/hardware solutions for the Defense Information System Agency (DISA) Program Executive Office Cyber (PEO-Cyber). This role involves validating software packages and devices, ensuring they meet system and security requirements, and that interfaces interact according to requirements. The Integration/Test Engineer will work to ensure the overall system functions as designed, ensure compliance with DISA STIGs/SRGs & RMF and meet performance standards.

Summary

This role involves validating software packages and devices, ensuring they meet system and security requirements, and that interfaces interact according to requirements. The Integration/Test Engineer will work to ensure the overall system functions as designed, ensure compliance with DISA STIGs/SRGs & RMF and meet performance standards.
Responsibilities
- Integrate sensing software/hardware solutions with associated networks to validate software packages and devices.
- Perform integration testing to ensure software packages and devices work together as a whole.
- Validate that system and security requirements have been met, with no loss in prior functionality, and that all interfaces interact according to requirements.
- Perform and support testing to ensure operations and hardware/software are functioning as designed.
- Develop and execute automated regression testing to verify previously released functionality.
- Conduct performance testing to determine how the system responds under specific settings, collecting performance and availability metrics.
- Test the interoperability and compliance of the system and interconnections, ensuring all interface standards have been met.
- Provide technical expertise for government acceptance activities, ensuring test scripts prove that solutions meet acceptance criteria.
- Ensure services and supporting systems have been built to specified technical, functional, and operational requirements.
Qualifications
- Active DoD Secret clearance.
- Bachelors degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of integration and test engineering experience on DoD/Federal programs including hybrid infrastructure and security constrained environments
- Experience in integration and testing, preferably within cybersecurity or IT sectors.
- Familiarity with testing methodologies and tools.
- Understanding of system integration principles and practices.
- Experience with developing and executing test plans and procedures.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
