What You'll Do:
- Monitor and manage access control systems to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain security-related protocols within the location.
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures for an aerospace and defense environment.
- Communicate with site personnel and emergency responders to relay important information and coordinate responses when necessary.
- Document all security-related activities, incidents, and visitor information accurately and in a timely manner.
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of the premises and perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and maintain a visible presence.
- Follow all site-specific policies and procedures as directed by Allied Universal and client management.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have three or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
- Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
- Provide proof of high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
