Job Description

As a Security Guard - Armed Aero/Defense Driver in Marietta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal in the aerospace and defense sector, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and support a secure environment. This armed and driving post involves maintaining clear communication, responding promptly to incidents, and providing outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Monitor and coordinate incoming and outgoing communications for the facility, including radio, telephone, and other means, to support security-related operations.
• Dispatch security-related personnel and resources to various locations within the site as needed, based on incidents, emergencies, or routine activities.
• Maintain detailed logs and reports of incidents, communications, and dispatched personnel in accordance with site-specific policies and procedures.
• Provide customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and contractors with security-related information and guidance.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the location.
• Support access control efforts by monitoring entry points and verifying credentials, as required by site-specific procedures.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal team members to help to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a secure environment within the aerospace and defense location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Three or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or a college degree is required.
• An armed guard card or license is required.
• Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Pepper spray certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
