As a Security Officer - Armed Driver Aero/Defense in Marietta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Dispatch Officer in an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, support daily operations, and help to deter security-related incidents. This is an armed and driving position. You will maintain a visible presence while delivering exceptional customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Monitor and coordinate communications for personnel and visitors, including managing radio and telephone traffic as part of dispatch operations.
• Document and report all incidents and activities according to site protocols.
• Assist with access control measures by verifying credentials and coordinating entry to restricted areas as required for an aerospace and defense location.
• Communicate with Allied Universal management and client representatives to relay important information and resolve issues as they arise.
• Support patrol teams by relaying information and coordinating response efforts as needed.
• Help to deter unauthorized activities by maintaining awareness of site operations and promptly reporting any suspicious behavior or incidents.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or a college degree.
• Possess an armed guard card or armed guard license as required.
• Provide proof of high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
