What You'll Do:
- Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies as directed by Allied Universal to provide customer service to clients in the aerospace and defense location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following protocols specific to the location.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
- Maintain awareness of the surroundings and report any suspicious persons, vehicles, or activities to the appropriate authorities.
- Assist with access control by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points as required by site procedures.
- Support emergency response activities when appropriate, including coordinating with local law enforcement and emergency services as needed.
- Complete detailed and accurate reports of daily activities, incidents, and any security-related observations encountered during patrols.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
- Possess an active Department of Defense Secret Clearance.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
