What You'll Do:
- Monitor and coordinate access to the location, verifying credentials and maintaining visitor logs as required by site-specific protocols.
- Operate communication systems to dispatch and relay information to appropriate personnel during routine operations and critical situations.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures for the location.
- Maintain detailed records of all activities, incidents, and dispatch communications according to Allied Universal and client requirements.
- Assist in the implementation of security-related procedures and support emergency response activities as needed.
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by addressing inquiries and offering assistance as appropriate.
- Work collaboratively with on-site teams to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activities within the premises.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
- Possess an armed guard card or license.
- Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
