Responsibilities

The individual selected for this position will support and advise the Customer's organization responsible for cyber activities, analysis and reporting. This includes providing Front Office Systems Integration (SI), Executive Officer/Action Officer, and Project/Portfolio management support related to baseline activities, as well as a Special Access Program. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Be the focal point for, and provide recommended responses to, taskings/actions assigned to the Department in support of a special access program; track all incoming actions to closure; coordinate with Front Office Leadership, Group Leadership, Program Managers, and Senior Leadership, as applicable, to ensure timely delivery of coordinated responses
  • Work closely with Senior Leadership and other departments to provide reporting, ensure requisite coordination, and monitor the associated workflow for high-visibility programs and activities
  • Collaborate/coordinate with other organizations, as necessary, by providing background information and materials in support of mission-related activities and briefings
  • Assist with meeting preparation; provide background and reference information and materials; facilitate meetings, and capture minutes and follow-on actions, as required
  • Provide backup support to other members of the SI team for other mission and programmatic activities
  • Work closely with Front Office Leadership and the Chief of Staff to support other high-visibility projects and activities
  • Support the Group Chief and Deputy, as necessary, by providing background information and materials in support of mission-related activities and briefings
  • Collaborate/coordinate with center-level action and communication offices, as necessary
  • Provide backup support to other members of the SI team for other mission and programmatic activities as well as any necessary backup support for the Chief of Staff

Qualifications

  • Must possess and be able to maintain a TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph
    A degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a scientific or technical discipline
  • BS 10-12, MS 8-10, PhD 5-7
  • Ability to fully coordinate master project schedules
  • Ability to coordinate information flow between all programs and organizational managers
  • Ability to establish functional and technical specifications and standards, solve hardware and software interface problems, define input/output parameters, and ensure integration of the entire system or subsystem
  • Provide a total systems perspective, including a technical understanding of relationships, dependencies, and requirements of hardware and software components
  • Previous direct customer experience in the areas of analysis and reporting to identify impacted components and advise on a response to incoming taskings
  • Demonstrated ability to provide written responses to Congressional taskings and reporting requirements
  • Work closely with Front Office Leadership and Department Leadership by providing background information and materials in support of mission-related activities and briefings
  • Demonstrated Action Item Management expertise - tracking, coordination of responses, reporting/metrics, etc.; expert knowledge of the Customer's tasking system is a plus
  • Demonstrated critical thinking skills; ability to quickly evaluate incoming taskings and advise on an appropriate response
  • Demonstrated understanding of Customer's mission and Special Access Program-related policies in order to analyze complicated and/or sensitive information to address moderately complex mission-related issues
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with a variety of audiences
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Outstanding organizational skills
  • Demonstrated business and political acumen
  • Expert knowledge of the Microsoft Office tool suite
  • Self-starter; proactive, can-do attitude
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Previous project/program management experience

  • Ability to test and evaluate hardware and software to determine efficiency, reliability, and compatibility with existing systems
  • Identify measures or indicators of system performance, and the actions needed to improve or correct performance, relative to the goals of the system
