OVERVIEW:
The Facilities Manager shall serve as the primary liaison for the Directorate of Operations to the Command Engineer's office, responsible for the day-to-day management of buildings 5011 and 5014 (Interior and Exterior) ensuring the facility is operating safely and efficiently for the building's occupants and visitors.

The Facilities Manager shall serve as the primary liaison for the Directorate of Operations to the Command Engineer's office, responsible for the day-to-day management of buildings 5011 and 5014 (Interior and Exterior) ensuring the facility is operating safely and efficiently for the building's occupants and visitors.
GENERAL DUTIES:
- Conduct preventive maintenance to identify building deficiencies along with deferred maintenance issues.
- Facilitate and submit Workspace Change Request's (WCR) as required
- Facilitate and submit work order requests thru the Engineering Change Order Management System (ECO) as required
- Coordinate and perform the monthly fire pump test
- Visualize and inspect fire extinguishers monthly and 100% and coordinates annual fire tag inspection by the company that maintains the extinguishers
- Coordinate, schedule and oversee the daily, weekly and monthly requirements of the custodial staff
- Escort uncleared maintenance personnel throughout the Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) as required
- Attend Implementation and Management Team (IMPLANT) meetings with the Command Engineer's office as required.
- Assists with space planning and presents allocation/requirement reports.
- Change all locks and codes for applicable facilities doors.
- Prepare reports and brief leadership about facility issues.
- Install ceiling tiles, flooring, and lights as required.
- Repair damaged walls on the spot to maintain facility aesthetics
- Conduct minor repairs as required, (door repair and adjustments, broken ceiling tiles, damaged floor tiles, damaged walls, broken toilets and sinks, broken lights, damaged furniture).
- Responsible for verifying temporary facilities are serviceable and capable of being occupied after a Hurricane or act of extraordinary circumstances.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Knowledge:
- 3 years' experience in managing facility in accordance with management regulations and standards
- 3 years' experience working fire, safety, resource protection regulations, risk assessment methods, techniques, and standards
- 3 years' experience working with the 6th Air Mobility Wing's Civil Engineers office
- 3 years' experience processing WCR's and ECO's through the USSOCOM network.
- Skills:
- Proficient in the use of Engineering Change Order Management System

- The ability to maintain strict confidence.
- The ability to communicate (written and verbal) in a clear and concise manner.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Safety Specialist (Preferred)
- Department of Defense (DoD) experience preferred
