ATHENA Logistics Specialist

Position Summary

MAG is looking for a logistics specialist responsible for shipping/receiving and inventory control. They offer logistics support with the operations and coordinate with the logistics manager to promote accurate and timely accountability. Additionally, logistics specialists assist with reports showing inventory stock levels and tracking/traceability.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Duties include, but not limited to :

• Maintain property records for company, customer, or Government property in accordance company and contract requirements and Government regulations from the date of acquisition through and beyond date of disposal.
• Prepare and process appropriate forms to indicate ownership, property movement, in accordance with government regulations, contract requirements, and corporate policy.
• Conducts physical inventories of property at various locations and reconcile to company, customer and/or government records.
• Assist with audits of compliance in accordance with internal and external requirements. Facilitate proper disposal of property as required.
• Knowledge of aviation logistics processes and procedures for the procurement and tracking of property.
• Assist with reconciliations and data transfers between property management/asset system and other systems.
• Apply logistics principles and methods to specialized logistics solutions.
• Other duties as assigned by the Logistics Manager

Requirements

Minimum Requirements

The required skills and knowledge include:

• Strong MS Office experience
• Demonstrated Organizational Skills
• Basic understanding of the ISR industry
• Ability to adapt to changing technology
• Ability to work independently and with a team

Education

The minimum level of education required is:

• High school diploma

Other Qualifications

Outside of the above, other certifications, licenses, or clearances include:

• Must have an Active Secret Security Clearance
