Links Technology is currently seeking a motivated and skilled Logistics Specialist to join our client's team with openings available in both Colorado Springs, CO and Parker, CO. Our client is a leader in the aerospace and defense industry. This is a contract role offering the opportunity to gain hands-on experience supporting critical aviation maintenance and supply chain operations.
Responsibilities of the Logistics Specialist:
Assist with the preparation of logistics documentation for spares, tools, test equipment, and materials.
Support the routing, documenting, and coordinating of shipping logistics.
Track logistics materials and parts for proper allocation in storage facilities.
Learn and apply applicable state, federal, and global import/export regulations.
Collaborate with teams to ensure the timely and accurate deployment and stocking of equipment and components.
Qualifications of the Logistics Specialist:
High school diploma or GED equivalent. Related experience may be considered in lieu of required education.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Familiarity with Inventory and Supply Chain/Logistics principles and techniques.
Experience with shipping databases, such as FedEx, DHL, or UPS, is preferred.
Familiarity with AvPro or similar aviation maintenance tracking systems is a plus.
Ability to operate a forklift is preferred.
Strong attention to detail.
Effective communication skills.
