We are looking for a QA Engineer to support comprehensive testing of BTSSS systems, including API services, Dynamics components, VA.gov integrations, and mobile claim submission workflows. This role will work within agile teams to ensure high-quality releases and support automated end-to-end testing as part of modernization.

We are looking for a QA Engineer to support comprehensive testing of BTSSS systems, including API services, Dynamics components, VA.gov integrations, and mobile claim submission workflows. This role will work within agile teams to ensure high-quality releases and support automated end-to-end testing as part of modernization.
Basic Requirements:
- Ability to successfully obtain a U.S. Federal Position of Trust clearance.
- Must reside in and be able to perform work in the United States.
- Must have lived in the United States for 3 of the last 5 years.
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience creating and executing test plans, test cases, and regression testing.
- Familiarity with automated testing tools and frameworks.
- Understanding of API testing, data validation, and system integration testing.
- Knowledge of accessibility testing (Section 508/WCAG)
- Strong problem-solving and defect-triage skills.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute test plans for BTSSS components across web, mobile, API, and Dynamics layers.
- Collaborate with engineers to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Validate functionality for Travel Pay API, claim workflows, and integrated services.
- Conduct 508 accessibility testing and document compliance results.
- Identify defects, track resolution, and support sprint goal validation.
- Assist in developing automated end-to-end test frameworks for modernization.
- Support production issue verification and incident response testing.
