Job Description
Tria Federal (Tria) is seeking a highly experienced Senior Solutions Architect - Military Health to provide technical leadership across capture and proposal opportunities. This role will design compelling, proposal-quality technical solutions for military health and Federal public health customers. Solution topics will include EHR modernization, data interoperability, advanced analytics, secure cloud migration, Scaled Agile, and DevSecOps implementations. The Senior Solutions Architect will work closely with capture managers, proposal leads, subject-matter experts, delivery teams, and business development to shape win strategy and ensure technical compliance with solicitation requirements.

The Senior Solutions Architect will work closely with capture managers, proposal leads, subject-matter experts, delivery teams, and business development to shape win strategy and ensure technical compliance with solicitation requirements.
Basic Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field; Master's degree preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in solution architecture, systems engineering, or technical leadership; minimum 5 years focused on military health (DoD/MHS).
- Demonstrated success leading technical capture and proposal activities, including architecture design, technical volume authorship, anchor graphics, LOE estimation, and oral technical presentations.
- Experience with cloud platform architectures and DevSecOps toolchains, including automated security processes and automated testing.
- Strong background in health data analytics and engineering: clinical data models, FHIR/HL7, ETL/data pipelines, analytic/ML workflows, and data governance.
- Working knowledge and practical experience with SAFe and Agile delivery frameworks; ability to translate sprints/PI milestones into proposal schedules and contract deliverables.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, proposal-quality materials for both technical and non-technical evaluators.
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally with capture, proposal, engineering, operations, and product teams under tight deadlines.
Additional Qualifications (Preferred)
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple capture or proposal opportunities simultaneously.
- Direct experience with military health programs, clinical systems, medical logistics, or health data exchange programs.
- Experience building PoCs/demos tailored to military health operational scenarios.
- Active or eligible for Public Trust or Secret clearance preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead technical solution development for capture and proposal efforts focused on military and Federal civilian health, producing technical volumes, anchor graphics, notional and reference architectures, and compliance matrices.
- Translate health mission needs (EHR modernization, clinical workflows, medical logistics, public health surveillance) into implementable, secure, and interoperable architectures that prioritize operational readiness.
- Design data architectures and analytics solutions for clinical and operational decision support, addressing challenges like EHR use and data interoperability.
- Architect secure cloud solutions (AWS/Azure/GCP) and DevSecOps/CI-CD pipelines to support application modernization and development.
- Define level of effort (LOE), staffing profiles, and technical cost drivers; collaborate with pricing, capture, and staffing leads to align technical and pricing strategies.
- Ensure proposed solutions satisfy government security, privacy, and compliance requirements and support documentation for ATO/ATO-like processes.
- Support and lead technical demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, oral presentations, and solution briefings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Mentor and coach junior architects and SMEs on capture best practices, proposal-quality writing, and solution design.
- Maintain currency in military health programs, health IT standards (FHIR, HL7), DevSecOps, cloud security, SAFe/Agile practices, and industry trends to inform capture strategy.
